10 Powerful Interior Design Firms in Bangalore Redefining Stunning Homes

Table of Contents

Last updated: 26 October 2026. Firm details checked on 19 October 2026.

Quick answer

Interior design firms in Bangalore fall into three groups: national design-and-build brands (Livspace, HomeLane, DesignCafe), Bangalore-based firms with their own factories and several studios (Decorpot, Asense, Q Oak), and boutique or luxury studios (Bonito Designs, De Panache, The KariGhars, Carafina). The right one depends on your scope, budget and how closely you want to work with the people designing and making your home. Compare written warranty terms, board grades and itemised quotes, not headlines.

Search for interior design firms in Bangalore and you get lists of names with very little behind them. Most don’t tell you where their facts came from, and almost none tell you how to actually choose.

We’re one of the firms on this list, so we’re not neutral. What we’ve done instead is take every claim below from each firm’s own website, checked on 19 October 2026, and grouped the firms by how they work. If you’re new to hiring, our page on interior designers in Bangalore explains how a full-home project runs.

What Defines the Best Interior Design Firms in Bangalore

Three kinds of interior design firms in Bangalore

National design-and-build brands. Big catalogues, experience centres in many cities, standard processes and long written warranties. You usually work with a designer assigned to your project inside a larger system.

Bangalore-based firms with their own factory. Fewer studios, all in or near the city, and modular furniture made in a factory they run. You can often visit the factory and meet the people who’ll install.

Boutique and luxury studios. Smaller teams, more bespoke design, often higher budgets and longer timelines. Good if you want a strongly personal look and someone designing every room from scratch.

None of these is better for everyone. A family that wants a quick, standard 2BHK may be happiest with a national brand. A villa owner may want a boutique studio. Plenty of people end up somewhere in between.

A closer look at each firm

1. Livspace

A national design-and-build platform. Its site advertises a lifetime warranty on modular products, which its terms define with year limits for different parts, and a 45-day move-in guarantee. Read what “lifetime” covers in writing before comparing it with anyone else’s warranty.

2. HomeLane

A national brand with 87 studios in 55 cities, according to its site, a flat 10-year warranty and delivery in 45 days with conditions. Its process page also spells out when factory production starts and what you pay at that stage, which is a useful thing to compare.

3. DesignCafe

HomeLane bought DesignCafe in 2024, and it still runs as its own brand. Its site says it has its own factory and offers a 30-year warranty, and it lists five experience centres in Bengaluru.

If you’re weighing the big three against each other, we’ve put Livspace vs HomeLane vs DesignCafe, side by side with their warranty and delivery terms.

4. Decorpot

Founded in Bangalore and now in more than 20 cities, according to its site, with an in-house factory, a 10+ year warranty and Bangalore experience centres in HSR Layout, Whitefield, Hebbal and JP Nagar, among others.

5. Asense Interior

A Bangalore firm that says it designs, engineers and manufactures under one roof, with a factory in Siddapura near Whitefield, a 10-year warranty and two experience centres, in HSR Layout and Whitefield.

6. Q Oak Interiors

That’s us. We design in our JP Nagar and Whitefield studios and make modular units in our own 20,000 sq ft factory in JP Nagar 7th Phase, on Biesse and Homag machines. We use BWP plywood throughout, and our modular work takes 45 to 60 days from design sign-off to delivery. More on that below.

7. Bonito Designs

A premium studio offering full-home design in Bengaluru and Mumbai, according to its site, with a 10+ year warranty and experience centres.

A luxury interior design studio that describes itself as having 15 years of experience creating bespoke homes, with an experience centre in Bangalore.

10. Carafina

A Bangalore studio whose site lists false ceilings, kitchens, wardrobes and sofas, with a 3-year warranty on all interiors. Worth a look for smaller or room-by-room work.

How to Choose the Right Interior Designer for Your Bangalore Home

How to choose an interior design firm in Bangalore

The firm matters less than how well it answers these questions for your home. Bring this list to every meeting.

  1. What’s in scope? Full home, or just kitchen and wardrobes? Some firms are set up for one more than the other.
  2. Which board goes in each unit? Ask for the grade unit by unit, and especially for the sink base and bathroom vanity. BWP plywood handles water best.
  3. Is the quote itemised? Every unit with size, finish, board and hardware brand. A lump sum per room makes comparison impossible.
  4. What’s not included? Civil work, electrical changes, false ceilings, painting, appliances and countertops are often quoted separately.
  5. When does the delivery clock start? Usually at design sign-off, sometimes tied to a payment. Ask what happens if it runs late.
  6. How are payments staged? Be wary of paying most of the money before anything is made. For comparison, ours are 10% at sign-up, 10% when designs are complete, 50% at production and 30% when materials are ready for delivery.
  7. What does the warranty cover in writing? Manufacturing defects only, or installation too? Which parts are excluded?
  8. Can I see a finished home or the factory? A firm that makes its own units should be happy to show you where.

What does an interior design firm cost in Bangalore?

For full homes, typical ranges in Bangalore are about ₹5 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh for a 2BHK, ₹7.5 lakh to ₹12 lakh for a 3BHK, and ₹12 lakh to ₹20 lakh or more for a 4BHK or villa. A 2BHK modular kitchen alone is usually ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh. Board grade, finishes and how much storage you build move the number far more than which firm you pick.

Our interior design cost guide for 2, 3 and 4BHK homes breaks these down item by item, with what’s usually excluded.

Why End-to-End Interior Design Services Matter More Than Ever

Where Q Oak fits

We’re a Bangalore firm and we only work in Bangalore. We don’t have dozens of studios. What we do have is our own factory: 20,000 sq ft in JP Nagar 7th Phase, running Biesse and Homag machines and handling 100+ projects a month. Every modular unit is BWP plywood, and you can visit the factory before you sign.

Our studios in JP Nagar and Whitefield are open every day from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. If you already have a quote from another firm, bring it along and we’ll go through it line by line with you, even if you don’t pick us. Book a free design session or email [email protected].

FAQs

Which are the top interior design firms in Bangalore?

Well-known names include national brands Livspace, HomeLane and DesignCafe, Bangalore firms with their own factories such as Decorpot, Asense and Q Oak Interiors, and boutique or luxury studios like Bonito Designs, De Panache, The KariGhars and Carafina. The best one for you depends on your scope, budget and how closely you want to work with the team.

Compare itemised quotes for the same scope, ask which board grade goes into each unit, read the written warranty, check when the delivery clock starts and how payments are staged, and visit a finished home or the factory if you can.

Full-home interiors in Bangalore typically cost about ₹5 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh for a 2BHK, ₹7.5 lakh to ₹12 lakh for a 3BHK and ₹12 lakh to ₹20 lakh or more for a 4BHK or villa. A 2BHK modular kitchen is usually ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh.

Some do. DesignCafe, Decorpot, Asense and Q Oak Interiors all say they run their own factories. Others work with manufacturing partners. Ask where your units will be made and whether you can visit.

It depends on scope and on when the clock starts. Q Oak’s modular work takes 45 to 60 days from design sign-off to delivery. Other firms advertise 45 days for standard scope, often with conditions, so read how each one defines it.

Most of the firms here offer end-to-end work: design, manufacturing and installation. Civil work, painting, false ceilings and electrical changes may or may not be included, so ask for a written list of what’s in and out.
